Synopsis
Alfonso Bauer Paiz is a 83 year old lawyer who lives in Guatemala. For more than half a century he has been fighting for social justice. He is a man of imperturbable principles. As a convinced socialist and freemason he defends his country against intervention and dictatorships. He is persecuted, forced to exile several times which lead him to the foci of Latin American history. He puts himself completely at the service of Latin American revolution in Chile, Cuba and Nicaragua. But the price he pays for his ideals is high. Wives and daughters die an untimely death… The film tells the life story of a restless man and his ideals. A history of the Latin American revolution.

Sinopsis
Alfonso Bauer Paíz, abogado de 84 anos, vive en Guatemala. Desde hace más medio de siglo, lucha por la justicia social. En busca de la dignidad para su país, lo defiende contra la intervención, los regímenes militares y las inescrupulosas empresas multinacionales. Repetidamente es perseguido y forzado al exilio, donde es a la vez testigo y protagonista de las revoluciones de América Latina. Pero el precio de los ideales es alto: amigos, esposas e hijos fallecen a temprana edad... La película esboza los ideales y el legado de un hombre inquieto que hace respirar la historia y el presente de América Latina.
