Synopsis
An older gentleman travels from the countryside to Havana. He wants to buy a pair of shoes for his young daughter. In the meantime, an older woman is alone in the city. As the man walks through the city, he is assaulted in the Malecon. In the aftermath, the two of them meet. Their time together, as they grow progressively closer, will be only for the afternoon and that night. And if it all ends in tragedy, it will be due to their own making.

Sinopsis
Un señor mayor viaja del campo a La Habana. Quiere comprar unos zapatos para su niña pequeña. Mientras tanto, una mujer mayor está sola en la ciudad. Al caminar el hombre por la ciudad, le asaltan en el Malecón. Como consecuencia se encuentran el asaltante y la víctima. Su tiempo juntos, en que se acercan progresivamente el uno al otro, será tan sólo esa tarde y esa noche. Y si todo acaba en tragedia, será por sus propias acciones.
